When she was young,
she was surrounded by many
and yet still she was lonely
but she survived somehow.

When she was young,
she fell in love,
never thought it would be gone,
she was lonely

One fine day,
he came to take her away
and she has no say
but to follow and obey
she was lonely
but she survived somehow.

Thinking
his love would come her way
his love would brightens her day.
Yet deep in her heart
the loneliness would not go away
been haunting her
every single night and day.

He knows she exists
but does he really care?
No more words she promised
Not that she wouldn’t dare
but the pain she had
was nothing beyond compare.

Sailing and sailing, drifting apart…
further and further each day,
and yet he is proud to say
“You are mine in every way!”

It is never easy to reach someone who is near, yet so far. It is never easy to sail in a boat without the oars. It is never easy to swim in the stormy sea and not get drowned. It is never easy to get back to where you started when you are completely lost in the labyrinth of life.

Today is his 69th birthday. When asked what does he want for his birthday, he replied, "nothing expensive". A very humble person he is. That is one of his many good qualities. The following short and simple poem is dedicated to this humble and respected man, though the person himself may not read it. Nothing expensive from me. My jackets are made of leather, My cups are made of porcelain clay, Storm or sunshine, any kinds of weather, May the Lord bestows upon you a blissful and prosperous birthday! Malaysian Heritage

Dr Jaya was absolutely right. Staying in Melaka is definitely not boring at all. There are a lot of things to do, many things to see and many historical places to visit. I had a great time spending my weekends there. Since I decided not to go back to KL during weekends, I made plans with Zurina and Wazir to visit some of the beautiful places here. Melaka is a nice place to visit. I love watching the sunset at Klebang beach, window shopping at Mahkota Parade, eating “mee hoon basah” at the RR stall near our home, driving round the Melaka city at night with my friends, dinner at Anjung Batu…simply love the “ikan bakar”…ohhh so many things to tell and to share with. During one of the weekends, my friends and I visited one of the most popular attractions in Melaka that is the Taman Mini Malaysia. It is situated approximately 16 killometres from the city.
