When I Walk Down The Memory Lane...


When I was young, I would listen to this song every night and day and memorising each of the lines by heart. At that time, I even felt my days were incomplete if I don't have this song to be played on my cassette player. Today, as I walk down the memory lane, I realised how much the song has affected my life. Like the song, I have lots of questions too, that I have yet to find the answer. The more I question myself, the harder and complicated life seems to be. I guess some of the things in life are not meant to be revealed, it is better left unanswered.

The song brings a lot of melancholy, heartbreaking, beautiful memories that skinned my heart from my teenage years until today. This song can bring smiles to my face, can welled up tears in my sombre eyes, both at the same time. For now and always, this evergreen song will have a very special place in my forlorn heart.

Happy Birthday Beloved PM

Today is his 69th birthday. When asked what does he want for his birthday, he replied, "nothing expensive". A very humble person he is. That is one of his many good qualities. The following short and simple poem is dedicated to this humble and respected man, though the person himself may not read it. Nothing expensive from me. Malaysian Heritage

Dr Jaya was absolutely right. Staying in Melaka is definitely not boring at all. There are a lot of things to do, many things to see and many historical places to visit. I had a great time spending my weekends there. Since I decided not to go back to KL during weekends, I made plans with Zurina and Wazir to visit some of the beautiful places here. Melaka is a nice place to visit. I love watching the sunset at Klebang beach, window shopping at Mahkota Parade, eating “mee hoon basah” at the RR stall near our home, driving round the Melaka city at night with my friends, dinner at Anjung Batu…simply love the “ikan bakar”…ohhh so many things to tell and to share with. During one of the weekends, my friends and I visited one of the most popular attractions in Melaka that is the Taman Mini Malaysia. It is situated approximately 16 killometres from the city.
